Showcasing the world’s tallest land mammal and ruminant.

After first look at this specific size and shape narrow wood, I saw the vision for giraffe immediately due to the unique shape of the wood alone.

Currently many subspecies of the giraffe are endangered due to human conflict resulting in habitat loss and poaching although the giraffe species overall is considered vulnerable. Thankfully, current conservation efforts are contributing to the growing number of giraffes back into the wild.

Lauren continues to showcase the beauty and need for conservation of all wildlife, especially with her passion and love for African animals, through her pyrography artwork.
