Walk and Wag Dog Event & Fair - 2nd Annual Fundraiser for Shelter Dogs @ Huntington’s Heckscher Park
Check out this amazing fundraiser event in support of shelter dogs on Mother’s Day weekend! There will be tons of pet-related vendors for shopping, dog adoptions and dog walking across the entire beautiful Heckscher Park in Huntington, NY during the peak of spring. Lauren will be vending with MelinyLLC (handmade dog collar covers) alongside many other pet-related vendors. She will be promoting and offering a special weekend discount on her custom pyrography pet artwork!
‘‘The second annual Walk & Wag event will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026 from noon until 4pm at beautiful Heckscher Park in Huntington, New York. Walk & Wag is organized by Give a Dog a Dream, Inc. and its partner, the Town of Huntington. All proceeds from the event will be used to support dogs at Huntington Animal Shelter by enhancing their health and adoptability. There are many ways to support and participate in Walk & Wag. Doggie U K9 Academy Open House & Pet Fair (St. Patty's Themed)
Check out this St. Patty’s Day themed open house & pet fair at Doggie U K9 Academy in Bay Shore NY, the largest indoor dog training facility in the metropolitan area! Lauren will be vending with MelinyLLC (handmade dog collar covers) alongside many other pet-related vendors. She will be promoting and offering a special weekend discount on her custom pyrography pet artwork! In addition to shopping vendors, there will be dog agility try-outs by the K9 Academy, pet photo opportunities, raffles, free doggy craft keepsake and more.

Check out the biggest pet event on Long Island at Suffolk County Community College in Brentwood NY! Lauren will be vending with MelinyLLC (handmade dog collar covers) alongside many other pet-related vendors. In addition, there will be animal education and demonstrations, petting zoo, pet photo opportunities and more family fun!

Check out a huge dog themed holiday fair and expo at Doggie U K9 Academy in Bay Shore NY, the largest indoor dog training facility in the metropolitan area! Lauren will be vending alongside many other pet-related vendors including dog rescues, pet photographers, bakers, crafters and more! In addition to shopping vendors, there will be demonstrations by the K9 Academy, pet photo opportunities, raffles to participate in and more. Overall, it will be a filled day of everything dog and holiday fun!
UPCOMING - Nassau SPCA Diego's Trunk or Treat Dog Halloween Event at Sands Point Preserve
Join Nassau SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) at the beautiful Sands Point Preserve for a dog costume contest, dog pie eating contest, pup activities, raffles, pet-related vendors and more! Lauren will be vending alongside many other pet-themed vendors!
$25 admission fee per family (includes parking and all-day access to the park).
UPCOMING - Babylon Animal Shelter Pop-Up Event
Join Babylon Animal Shelter at a small pop-up event with a few vendors, coffee truck, raffles, and of course dog/cat adoption fun! Lauren will be vending at the event promoting her custom pet pyrography artwork.
UPCOMING - Barkfield Road Pet Store All Day Pop-Up Event (Sept. 27th Neighborhood Pet Store Day)
Celebrate a day full of vendors, art and one-day-only deals at an amazing pop-up event at Barkfield Pet Store in Northport, NY! Lauren will be vending at the event alongside other local pet vendors and there will also be a couple hosted activities including tie-dye shirt making and paint-and-sip paint your pet with goodies and more!

Check out the one-day annual art fair event in Downtown Patchogue on Terry Street with live painters, art exhibits, music & more! Lauren’s featured piece ‘‘Herbalism’’ will be on view in the Patchogue Art Council’s member’s exhibit booth. In addition, a music-inspired piece by Lauren will be on view in the Ballpark Figure Booking booth.
