Frequently Asked Questions
-
Yes, I love to work with all brands especially other small businesses. Please inquire via email or my contact form to connect and discuss further.
Previously, I have partnered with News12 on a TV feature and small local businesses including pet stores, gift shops & more. I’ve also been featured on Razertip’s, best pyrography tool brand, social media accounts on numerous occasions. As well as recognitions from many brands, one most notable including Ford Mustang from noticing my very first car commission piece!
-
This is one of my most asked questions!
Equipment/Tools Used:
1. Razertip pyrography machine with one single tool tip. I turned one tip into my universal tool instead of switching between multiple tips.
2. Engraving tool - Occasional use for some highlights
3. Torch - Occasional use for darkened backgrounds
4. Sander - Used in prepping the wood to create a smoother surface prior to burning
5. Sealant - Used to seal every completed piece to provide protection from elements such as direct and indirect lighting which fades pieces over time. Sealants help to minimize these effects and greatly slow the fading process.
There is zero use of laser machinery or other computerized equipment in my handmade art. My art is fully hand-tooled and I do not add any other mediums such as paint or such that would consider it mixed media work. Fully handmade original pyrography-only art.

Commission works include live-edge basswood and/or pinewood that are commonly used unless otherwise requested.
Original works include a variety of wood species with a blend of both hardwoods and softwoods. Including basswood, pinewood, cherry, maple, walnut & oak so far. I plan on experimenting with more wood types as my art evolves.
Sourcing:
Commission works - I mostly purchase standard wood shapes/sizes from local craft stores so that I can be sure to continue receiving similar types with no surprises in any differences.
Original works - Mostly collected from wood sawmills that were gathered from fallen or previously cut trees in raw form. These typically offer much more variety in different wood species, sizing and shapes. This sourcing method is also great in supporting other small businesses.

Turnaround time varies based on commission waitlist at the time of ordering. Currently, please expect about 1-2 weeks for order fulfillment from when order is placed to completion of commissions. Shipping is additional time - roughly few days depending on exact shipping location and any possible delays.
Please expect delays around high-volume times including the holidays.
All non-commissioned works, such as originals, will be shipped within 1-2 business days after order is placed.

Commissions: Cancellations are only accepted within the first 24 hours after commission order placement or before beginning custom work. In this scenario, full refunds are granted. Refunds are not allowed after this time-frame window once work has begun. I have never had cancellations but please keep this in mind.
If for any reason there are any issues with a completed piece, although very unlikely, partial refunds may be granted depending on a case-by-case basis. Full refunds cannot be granted on any completed commission work. Many artists enforce this policy to protect the artists’ time and effort as commissioned work cannot be resold.
Originals: Sales are final - no cancellations and no refunds. Originals are processed and shipped very quickly.
