After first look at this specific size and shape wood between the height with wider bottom and narrower top, Lauren saw the vision for the giraffe immediately due to the unique wood shape alone.

Currently, many subspecies of the giraffe are endangered due to human conflict resulting in habitat loss and poaching although the giraffe species as a whole is considered vulnerable. Thankfully, current conservation efforts are contributing to the growing number of giraffes back into the wild.
